Reconnect LinkedIn when sharing stops working
Last updated: June 30, 2026
LinkedIn connection failed or expired
If sharing stops working or Settings shows LinkedIn needs attention, reconnect your account.
When to reconnect
- Share fails with "Please connect your LinkedIn account" or "session expired"
- Settings shows Reconnect required on your LinkedIn connection
- Company pages no longer appear in the share dialog
Steps to reconnect
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Click Reconnect (personal) or Reconnect company pages (company)
- Complete LinkedIn authorization in your browser — you do not need to disconnect first
- For company pages, re-select which pages to activate if prompted
If you are already logged into LinkedIn in that browser, you will usually see a permissions screen only (or be redirected back immediately).
Never share passwords or tokens — reconnect always goes through LinkedIn's official authorization.
