Billing, trials, and subscription

Billing is managed by the organization owner in the management portal.

Public beta pricing

  • Individual$20/user/month, unlimited users (best value for smaller teams)
  • Waves Business$249/month includes your first 20 users; after that, seat packs of 10 users for $50/month are added automatically when your team grows
  • Billing is based on active team members — Standard adds seat packs when you go over 20; Individual adjusts per-seat quantity as members join or leave. Stripe prorates mid-cycle changes (not end-of-month usage billing).
  • 30-day free trial on both self-serve plans
  • Enterprise — contact support for custom pricing, SSO, and onboarding

Managing billing

Owners go to Settings → Billing (/management/settings?tab=billing) to:

  • View subscription status and trial end date
  • Update payment method via Stripe
  • Cancel or reactivate subscription

Admins and marketing roles cannot access billing.

Trial ending

You'll see an in-app banner and an email about 3 days before trial end. Add a payment method to continue after the trial.

Payment issues

If payment fails, status becomes past due and app access is limited until the owner updates payment in the billing portal.

Canceling

You can cancel at period end from Billing. A banner shows the end date; owners can reactivate before the period ends.
